Job Description

Position Summary

The Sales/Marketing Associate will work as part of a dedicated team to drive new business, strategic initiatives and programs in the Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV) market. This role will serve as a key player in capture management for major defense contracts, identifying current and future customer service requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers, while consulting with Roboteam engineers and other professional and technical personnel. Roboteam is looking for a highly self-motivated and driven individual who will plan and organize sales schedules, interface with the customer—providing product, service, and/or technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests. The successful applicant will also be a great contributor to sales effectiveness by conducting business analysis–identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.


Basic Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Marketing and Sales leadership.
  • Highly skilled in problem solving, product knowledge, and selling to customer needs.
  • Highly skilled in requirements analysis and technical understanding.
  • Highly skilled in presentation skills, verbal communication, and creativity.
  • Experience preparing and evaluating technical documents.


Additional Qualifications

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Experience in program management in DHS and/or DoD fields.
  • Some knowledge of robotics systems, both commercial and DoD preferred.
  • Armed Forces experience preferred but not required.
